CALENDARS MAKE WAY ACROSS THE REGION

Residents at Crossley House in Yarram are among the first Gippslanders to receive their copy of Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester’s free 2026 #lovegippsland calendar, with the aged care facility one of several to receive a direct delivery this week.
Mr Chester said his office delivers boxes of calendars directly to aged care homes each year to ensure all residents, including those with limited mobility, can enjoy the annual showcase of local photography.
“With such a wide range of physical abilities among aged care residents, it’s important that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the calendar, not just those who can travel to a local business or community group,” Mr Chester said.
“Delivering calendars directly to aged care facilities ensures all residents can enjoy the beautiful local images and feel connected to our broader Gippsland community.”
More than 30,000 free calendars will be available across the region.
Calendars can also be collected from Mr Chester’s electorate offices in Traralgon and Sale, as well as the offices of state MPs Danny O’Brien and Tim Bull in Sale and Bairnsdale.
Mr Chester thanked the many community groups, aged care facilities and small businesses that help distribute calendars each year.
“Their support ensures these stunning local photographs reach as many Gippslanders as possible,” he said.
