Parks Week Movie Night in Port Albert
The Port Albert Progress Association (PAPA) is once again hosting its Movie Night at Rutters Park on the Port Albert foreshore. This is an annual event to celebrate Victorian Parks Week 2026. Please join us for a picnic style movie night under the stars.
Date: Sunday March 8th 2026
Location: Rutters Albert, 12 Bay St, Port Albert VIC 3971, Australia Park Port
Time: Activities begin from 5.30pm. Movie starts from 7.45pm.
Movie Title: Minecraft
Food: Enjoy a free sausage sizzle provided by PAPA (Cooked with thanks by CFA Volunteers). There will also be a coffee van selling hot drinks, milkshakes and frappes.
Activities: Free face painting for the kids.

Sounds by the Sea - Summer Sessions
The Port Albert Progress Association (PAPA) is hosting their Sounds by the Sea - Summer Sessions Music Event at the Port Albert Hall, featuring 2 x live bands (Johnjohn & Uncovered) and a great-value licensed bar. (Cans of Beer $5, Premix cans $8, Glass of wine/bubbles $5, Softdrink $2).
Cafe AGA Food will be onsite, offering a tapas-style menu along with non-alcoholic and hot drinks to cater for the event.

Easter at Port Albert
Port Albert Easter Family Fun Day
As part of the Tarra Festival, the Port Albert Progress Association proudly hosts the annual Easter Family Fun Day and Remembrance Floating Lantern Festival, held in Rutters Park on the Port Albert Foreshore.
This much-loved community event offers something for everyone, with live music, free children’s activities, food trucks, and an art show and curios on display in the Port Albert Hall. As dusk falls, the evening culminates in the launch of beautiful floating lanterns on the water, creating a truly memorable experience for the whole family.
This is an open-air event held at Rutters Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic rugs and chairs, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere as the sun sets over the foreshore.
Easter Sunday (April 5th) from 5.00pm to 9.00pm
Lanterns are launched on dusk (8pm)

DAWN SERVICE Port Albert
Join the Port Albert Progress Association at Memorial Park for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.
ANZAC Day services are held at dawn across Australia to commemorate the courage, sacrifice and service of the Australian and New Zealand men and women who have served their country, past and present.
The Port Albert ANZAC Day Service, held at Memorial Park, traditionally attracts hundreds of residents and visitors who come together to reflect, remember and pay their respects.
This is an open-air service held at Memorial Park in Port Albert. The service runs for approximately one hour and is followed by a light BBQ breakfast, available for a gold coin donation.
