Two from two for Yarram

Rd 2 Good Friday

Yarram have had a dream start to the 2025 season with two wins from two outing against two improving sides.

The Good Friday clash Yarram v Glengarry lived up to expectations for the big crowd at the Yarram Recreation Reserve.

Glengarry started the better kicking four goals to three in the first quarter and leading by 4 points.

Yarram kicked into gear in the second and muscled their way to 25 margin at the half time break

The third quarter saw Yarram extend their margin to 29 points, they did not have all their own way, with Glengarry being very competitive but just unable to finish off some of their good work down back.

With the final instructions ringing in their players ears, both team hit the field for the final quarter, full of energy and provided the big crowd with an entertaining final quarter. For Demon fans, they had plenty more to cheer about as the home side kicked away to recorded 38 point win.

For the Demons, Boadie Motton was named as player of the match by the live broadcast team but failed to rate a mention in the Demons best players list. Benjamin Vardy took that honour being named first best. Josh Swift was the main goal scorer for the Demons with six goals.

For Glengarry Callum Mitchell was named their best and was also their major goal scorer with four goals.
