Gippsland Ambulance Victoria forum

Community invited to share insights at Gippsland AV forum

At the Ambulance Victoria (AV) Community Forum on 5 May, Gippsland locals are invited to share their thoughts and ideas on how AV can continue to provide best care to the Gippsland community.

To be held at the Traralgon Golf Club, the community forum is an opportunity for ambulance users and community members to hear about AV’s strategic plan and to then provide their insight and feedback to help shape the future of ambulance services in the region.

AV Interim Chief Executive Officer Andrew Crisp said he was looking forward to speaking with locals about what matters to them.

“Strengthening the connections we have with our community, patients and supporters allows us to better understand and meet local needs,” he said.

“Community is at the forefront of everything we do at AV, and this forum will provide a great opportunity for us to listen and engage with locals in a much more meaningful way.

“It is vital that the community is consulted and this Gippsland community forum is another chance for people to speak openly about our services and know that we are listening.”

At the end of the forum there will be an opportunity to meet with the AV Board, Executive, Community Advisory Committee members and local paramedics while enjoying a light lunch.

The community forum is one way that people will have a say in the delivery of services that are meaningful to them.

The event is open to all community members, local business leaders, not for profits and community organisations.

Places are limited, so please register by Friday 25 April 2025.
