This week was the third win in a row for the B Grade team who have moved up to fourth on the NGFNL.
Results and analysis from Saturdays games from their coaches:

The girls were very slow coming out of the gate and took half a game to get fully activated. From then it was game on. Charlotte was flying in defence with several intercepts with the help of Sammi who moved seamlessly from goals to the defensive end to assist.
The mid court was solid with Ella, Scarlett, Lucy, Izzy moving the ball well particularly in that second half. Down the goal end Chloe, Navy and Kittie shared the goals. It was a real team effort and the girls look forward to bringing that second half energy to their entire game moving forward.
Awards today to Ella and Charlotte.

The girls stepped onto the court determined to come away with the win, and their confidence and hard work paid off. Once again, our three under 15’s stepped up and filled in seamlessly! Throughout the first three quarters, the team showed great improvement in the connections between the shooters, while the defenders kept the pressure on with strong turnovers and some fantastic intercepts. Addy was calm and composed in the ring, shooting accurately, collecting rebounds, and providing constant encouragement to her teammates all over the court. Bink demonstrated patience and maturity and gave calm feeds into the ring. She took on feedback and it showed in her performance! It was a fantastic team performance from all the girls, and they should be extremely proud of their efforts. Hopefully we can carry this momentum and confidence into next week’s game!

Saturday’s game was just amazing especially way the girls came out and just played as a team. Winning wasn’t the number one thing on their minds’ having fun was. All the combinations worked so well together and everything at training was used in the tgame. A few girls were thrown all around, Charli being one who was thrown in GS and getting the first goal!
Awards: Kirsty for being able to react quickly and for getting so many intercepts and turn overs. And Lilly for being able to move and always using her voice to get the ball in her hand when she wants it and her accuracy was unmatched.
First win on the board for the D grade girls and hopefully more to come!

Heading over to Cowwarr the girls knew it was going to be a competitive match up.
Defensively the team were able to put a lot of pressure on Cowwarr to force turnovers and able to gather some rebounds. The middies were able to efficiently transition ball down the court and feed nicely to our shooters taking the win in the first and second quarters. Unfortunately holding on to the lead is hard and some misplaced feeds had Cowwarr snapping at our heels, managing to sneak the win.
Awards to Alira for her defensive pressure and Evie Collins for her calm presence and feeds.

Well done everyone. Saturdays game was a concerted team effort.
The mid court put a lot of pressure on the opposition passes into goal which allowed defenders to pick off some great intercepts. The goalers and mid court players worked hard to create space and there were some beautiful passes in and around the goal circle.
Protecting the ball and ensuring passes were delivered to team mates was a highlight of the game.
Welcome to Lily Collins who was the award winner today. Her steady and consistent passing into goal circle earned her that award.
Lilli S also played a fantastic game at GK.
Special mention to Manawa who stepped into Madds spot at GD for a few minutes game time and acquitted herself very well...and she also grabbed a few speccy intercepts. Let’s keep the momentum going!
